Color: White with Blue Trim

Cap Sold Separately

Over time, wear and tear, excessive force when turning, or accidental impact can cause the timer knob to crack, loosen, or lose its grip on the timer shaft. This makes it difficult to select and maintain accurate drying cycles.

Symptoms of a faulty Dryer Timer Knob include:

  • Difficulty turning the knob to select the desired cycle
  • Knob slipping or turning loosely
  • Cracks, breaks, or missing parts

This OEM Whirlpool part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

Gary, The correct timer will be based off of the series number of unit. The series number is the first 2 numbers of the serial number. If the first 2 numbers are between 10-15 then the timer would be WP33002854. If the series is between 16 or higher you will need timer WP33002808 in addition you will need harness WP33002809. The other timer part number WP33002855 is not for use with your unit.

Hello JB. You will need to line the shots in the timer knob up with the timer shaft. Then press the cap into the slot in the knob. If everything is lined up, it does not break the shaft. Make sure you install the knob WP22003993 before you press in the cap. Hope this helps.
