Dick October 24, 2013 for Model Number de107 Maytag The replacement timer(33312454) for this model does not appear to have the same number of terminals as the original timer(3-2454). Are there instructions for re-wireing?
1 Answer Dick, There could be a physical difference in the components. 33002454 is an updated part number for the same part(timer) There are no instructions that come with the replacement timer. There are still four wires to the labeled terminals on the new timer, just like the original timer, You can replace or switch one wire at a time, or label each wire as you remove it and attach it to the corresponding terminal on the new timer. There shouldn't be any issues. This numbering change took place many years ago (early 90's). Read More...
