Lynn June 12, 2012 for Model Number Maytag Washer LAT9416AAE Serial # 15279154SH Washer dial/timer that controls off/on and different cycles isn't working at most settings. I assume it's the timer. Looks like there are 2 timers based on the serial #. Which would I order? Thanks,Lynn

Darren April 18, 2012 for Model Number Maytag LAT9416AAE What is the difference between part# AP4029053 and part# AP4027878? They are both switch/timers for the same model.
1 Answer Hello Darren! We do not have the specs available to be able to tell the exact difference between two parts. However, there is a manufacturer series change within your model that affects the timer used on your product. We will need your serial number to determine the correct timer used on your model LAT9416AAE. Thanks! Read More...
Brother M. December 08, 2011 for Model Number LAT9416AAE When a timer is bad nothing is going to come on, because I dont hear the water valve open at all, what do I do?
1 Answer Hi Brother. Behind the timer, mounted to the top of the cabinet is a lid switch assy. It will have a fuse in it that will open when the lid switch and check switch short out. This is the style on your model. It is bolted to the top of the cabinet at a certain measurement . So it pays to be smart and use a felt marker to outline the switch mount against the frame so you can mount the new one on at the correct distance. You will access this by removing the power and removing the back control panel cover. There are 2- inner side screws that hold down the Lt and Rt. inner control panel sides. Remove these and roll the front of the console assy. FWD. onto a towel laid on top of the lid. This will give access to the mount. Take a picture or mark down the switch wires so you know how they reconnect. You will see a unbalance lever that has to physically touch the switch as the lid opens and closes. This lever hooks to the lid lever assy. that the lid actuates. So you will need to lift the lid and work the lid switch mount together and finally bolt it into place when all are working together. Assemble in reverse. Thank You. Read More...
