Hello Smitty,
If the belt is not worn and nothing is clogging the drain hoses, the most probable cause is the drain pump WP6-2022030. If all of the water is drained out but the clothes are wet, the most likely cause would be the spin bearing and tub seal assemblies 6-2095720 & 6-2040130.

Raj,

If you are not getting power to the water valve then you want to check the wiring back to the timer. If the wiring checks ok then you would want to replace the timer.

Kevin for Model Number LAT7500AAW

I recently replaced the belts on the bottom of my washer. I was smelling burning rubber and the belt that runs the length of the front was pretty torn up. I replaced both but an oversight on my part I shorted the belt length by 1/2in mistaking it for 1/2" wide as opposed 41 1/2". After getting both belts on the washing machine was plugged back in and made a click noise. Now it will not fill or go to spin cycle. It is essentially dead for lack of a better phrase. Troubleshooting: Tried both hot and cold water Replaced the switch fuse took off control cover and verified all connections were secure. Did not notice anything loose or discolored as if it might have been fried. Not really sure what to do here what would you recommend? I would hate to have to replace the timer switch as I had no issues with it prior but not sure if I overloaded something by putting the wrong belt size on there. Your help is appreciated.

Kevin,

You may want to check your pressure switch and hose to make sure that they are good and in good condition. Make sure that the hose is not cut or clogged. You will also want to check to make sure that there is power going to the water valve when the unit is calling for water. If there is not 120 vac then the timer would be the cause if the pressure switch tests ok.
