Bill, The most likely cause for the timer to not rotate would be the timer motor failing and it sounds like the contacts are going bad.

Josie, You will want to check the motor to see if the motor is getting power to it. If there is no power to the motor then you would want to check the thermal fuse on the blower housing. If this checks ok then the issue would most likely be the timer. If the thermal fuse is bad then replace and if the motor is getting power then the motor would be the issue.
