Pete February 14, 2018 for Model Number WED6600VW0 The start button stopped working. I was able to take the control panel apart and get to the control panel. There is two components to the control panel (replacement part AP6014806); the electronic board and the plastic back. It is the plastic back plate that has the little tabs that break. Is it possible to just purchase a replacement plastic back plate and not the entire replacement control board?

Eddie May 14, 2014 for Model Number WED6600VW0 I need to replace the Cntrl-Elec because the start button broke off. Any idea how to remove the old one? It looks like it clips on but must be removed from the front of the console but how do you remove the grey face plate of the console to remove it? I'd hate to have to purchase the entire console if I don't have to.
1 Answer Hello Eddie. To replace the control board WPW10051165, you must disconnect the power. Then remove the screws from the back of the console and remove the console from the unit.
