But also how can I tell if the upper rinse spinner is working. Also we had a problem with washing machine, We went to drain it would back up. The dish washer is next in drain line. We did have some come out and fix that, but would it be wise to replace our drain line for dish washer?

Cathy October 08, 2015 for Model Number GU1200XT I found the spinner and the male part of the rivet in the dishwasher. Can't find the female part of the rivet and am concerned that it has gone down into the pump area. If it has, will it pose a problem to the operation of the dishwasher? Thanks.
1 Answer Cathy, The rivet is probably still stuck in the top of the feed tube WP8558968. If the rivet did fall into the pump, it will eventually reach the chopper blade assembly. Granny January 16, 2014 for Model Number 8519736 This spinner and plastic removable pin was found at bottom of the washer. I could not tell exactly where it belongs from the diagram. The diagram has the part but not exactly how it is placed. Does it snap up into the top spinner? Which side is up ? And do I need a screw to put it back into place. Currently I have 2 parts. Temurphy June 21, 2011 for Model Number KUDIO1ILBL3 Kitchen aid undercounter dishwasher has an upper spray arm that does not appear to be rotating. Top drawer cups and dishes are not getting cleaned. Spray arm turns freely by hand and as far as I can tell is not clogged. Have made sure dishes and pans in lower drawer are not blocking it and that there is sufficient detergent, Ideas?
