Part Number: OEM18025917
Manufacturer Part Number: WP34963

This mixing valve blends hot and cold supply water to reach the selected temperature during fill. Replacing a worn valve restores correct water temperature and flow so cycles run as intended. What it does:

  • Regulates and mixes hot and cold water entering the appliance during fill
  • Helps maintain the selected warm temperature for consistent performance
  • Opens and closes to control water flow
  • Common symptoms: only hot or only cold fill, incorrect water temperature, slow/no fill, or leaks at the valve connections
What's included:
  • 1 mixing valve assembly
Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before servicing
  • Place a towel/bucket to catch residual water; relieve line pressure
  • Label and remove hoses; transfer any brackets or fittings from the old valve if needed
  • Restore water, check for leaks, and run a brief fill test

Al for Model Number amana LW3303W

Top Loading heavy duty multi-speed super capacity washer. The tub does not fill when the control knob is engaged. I have taken off and cleaned the mixing valve checking for possable sediment build up and blockage. After doing that the tub will not fill at all and when the water faucets are left on the mixing value still will allow water to accumulate in the tube without anything being turned on or engaged. Also the washer does not start all the time when I fill the tub manually whether the water level switch is set to low or not. Sometimes have to fill the tub almost full before the water level switch will allow the machine to start. is this the right part numbers for my machine and would this normally take care of the tube filling and water level issue? Valve, Mixing Part Number: AP4044939 Made by Whirlpool Switch, Pressure Part Number: AP4048403 Made by Whirlpool thank you for your assistnace I hope to be able to use my washing machine normally again.

Al, Yes, Replacing the water mixing valve 33930 will solve the tub / tube filling, when the washer is turned off. However, you'll need to check the water level switch 31266 and the air dome hose, and bellow for clogs and kinks(the 1/4" hose from the pressure switch to the side of the tub) to solve the fill/ no fill issue. Good Luck.
