The Upper Dishrack Wheel Assembly is an OEM part for Whirlpool dishwashers. This assembly includes the wheels and the bracket that attaches to the upper dishrack, allowing it to slide in and out smoothly. It ensures the stability and ease of use of the upper dishrack, making it easier to load and unload dishes.

Causes of a bad upper dishrack wheel assembly can include wear and tear from regular use, exposure to high heat and moisture, or physical damage such as cracks or broken wheels. When the wheel assembly is compromised, it can hinder the movement of the upper dishrack, making it difficult to operate.

Symptoms of a bad upper dishrack wheel assembly include:

  • Difficulty sliding the upper dishrack in and out
  • Upper dishrack coming off its tracks
  • Noisy or uneven movement of the upper dishrack
  • Visible damage or broken wheels

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

If the new float switch has failed then you will want to check power getting to the float switch as it sounds like it could be getting too much voltage in which case the control board would be the issue if the float switch is failing.
