DIY install — about 15 minutes

1. Unplug dryer; remove lint screen housing & front panel.
2. Release belt tension at idler pulley; lift drum slightly to slide old belt off.
3. Loop new belt around drum, idler pulley and motor pulley (ribbed side down).
4. Re-assemble, run test cycle - enjoy quiet, consistent tumbling.

This replacement idler pulley keeps the drive belt tight and tracking correctly so the drum can rotate smoothly. It restores quiet, consistent operation when the original pulley is worn or seized and causing belt slippage or noise.

• Disconnect power; if gas, shut off the gas supply
• Note belt routing, relieve tension from the idler arm, and remove the belt from the motor pulley
• Remove the retaining hardware from the old pulley, install the new pulley on the idler arm shaft, and re-tension the belt
• Manually rotate the drum to verify smooth belt tracking before reassembly and test run
