Amana Range EHS312 Little to no heat when baking

This 30 in. bake element is the oven's lower heating element that produces the heat needed for baking and roasting. Replace a damaged element to restore proper oven heating and even bake results. What it does:

• Heats the oven cavity from the bottom to provide baking and roasting temperatures
• Promotes even browning and consistent cooking when functioning correctly
• Common symptom: oven does not reach set temperature or won't heat at all
• Common symptom: uneven baking, cold spots, or visible breaks/burn marks on the element

• One 30 in. bake element

• Disconnect power to the appliance before starting any work
• Allow the oven to cool completely and wear gloves to protect hands from sharp edges
• Inspect and reconnect wiring securely; replace if wiring or terminals are damaged
• Follow the appliance manufacturer's instructions for removing oven racks, access panels, and securing the element
