Amana Range EHS346 Little to no heat when broiling

This electric range broil element installs at the top of the oven to deliver direct radiant heat for broiling. Replacing a burned-out or damaged element restores fast, even broil performance and consistent top heat.

• Provides high, direct heat from the top of the oven during Broil to sear and brown food
• Common fix for: broiler not heating, weak or uneven broiling, visible blisters/cracks on the element, or sparking during broil
• Mounts at the upper oven cavity; connects to two push-on terminals
• Helps restore consistent top heat and even browning when functioning correctly

• Disconnect power at the breaker or unplug the range before servicing
• Remove oven racks; unfasten mounting screws/bracket, gently pull element forward, and disconnect the wire terminals (support wires to prevent them from falling back)
• Transfer existing mounting hardware if needed; ensure terminals are fully seated and insulated—do not overtighten screws
• The element is clear of the oven liner; restore power and test Broil
