• Seals the gap between the door and oven front to prevent hot air and steam from escaping
• Helps maintain stable cavity temperature and more even cooking results
• Replace if the seal is torn, frayed, hardened, flattened, or if you notice heat escaping, longer preheat times, or temperature fluctuations

• Disconnect power or gas and allow the oven to cool completely before servicing
• Open the door, remove the old seal, and clean the channel or retainers
• Press the new seal into the existing clips/retainers without stretching; align corners evenly
• After installation, verify the door closes snugly and perform a brief preheat to help seat the seal
