Maytag Range MER7775WS2 Element will not heat

This ceiling-mounted broil element delivers the intense, top-down radiant heat your oven needs for broiling and finishing. Replacing a failed element restores strong, even broiler performance and consistent browning. What it does:

• Provides high-temperature, top-down heat for broiling, searing, and finishing foods
• Common symptoms of failure: broiler won't heat, uneven broiling, or element does not glow
• Visible cracks, blistering, or breaks on the element indicate it's burned out
