Norge Range NEW3G8DEV Element will not heat

This surface element supplies heat to an electric range or cooktop burner. When it fails, the burner may not heat or may heat inconsistently. Replacing the element restores steady, reliable cooking performance.

• Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing and allow the cooktop to cool completely
• If your model uses a plug-in coil style: remove the drip pan, pull the element straight out of the receptacle, and inspect/replace a heat-damaged receptacle as needed
• If your model uses an under-glass radiant style: lift the cooktop, transfer any clips/limiters from the old element, and route wires exactly as original
• After reassembly, test the burner at a low setting to ensure proper operation

The Broil Element is an OEM part for Whirlpool ranges. This part provides the intense, direct heat necessary for broiling. This part is located at the top of the oven cavity and is essential for achieving high temperatures needed for tasks like browning and searing.

This bake element supplies the primary heat from the bottom of the oven during the Bake cycle. Replace it to restore proper preheating and even results when the original is burned out, damaged, or no longer heating. What it does:

• Provides radiant heat for baking and preheating from the lower oven position
• Helps the oven reach and maintain the set temperature for consistent cooking
• Common symptoms: no heat in Bake, very slow preheating, uneven baking, or a visible blister/crack in the element
• Restores normal oven operation when the existing element has failed

• Disconnect power at the breaker or unplug the appliance before servicing
• Remove oven racks; take out the element's mounting screws and gently pull the element forward
• Support and disconnect the two wire terminals; prevent wires from slipping back into the insulation
• Attach wires to the new element, secure with existing hardware, restore power, and test
