Replace electronic oven control (also called EOC or clock).

Replace electronic oven control (also called EOC or clock).

Oven temperature too hot

Replace relay board if faulty. Check and replace oven temperature sensor (RTD). If failure repeats, replace ERC (electronic range control or clock).

Open oven temperature sensor (RTD)

Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.

F4

Shorted oven temperature sensor (RTD)

Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.

F7

Function key stuck

Check all keys on key pad. Replace electronic oven control (also called EOC or clock) if other components check normal.

F8

Internal logic failure

Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) and ERC (electronic oven control) if wiring and everything else checks ok.

F9

Internal logic failure

Check door latch and switches, replace if found defective. Replace ERC if other components check ok.

Fd

Bake and Broil relay drives act simultaneously.

Check the relay board for damage. Replace if defective. Replace ERC if defective.
