The Ice Maker Water Line is an OEM part for Whirlpool refrigerators. It supplies water from the household plumbing to the ice maker, ensuring a consistent and reliable production of ice cubes. This kit includes a 1/4-inch plastic water line that is approximately 72 inches long. The tubing will need to be cut to match the desired length.

Causes of a bad water line can include wear and tear from prolonged use, kinks or bends restricting water flow, or leaks due to punctures or cracks. A compromised water line can result in inadequate ice production or water leaks.

Symptoms of a bad ice maker water line include:

This icemaker fill cup and bearing assembly directs water from the inlet tube into the ice mold and provides the pivot point for the shutoff arm. Replacing a cracked or missing cup helps stop leaks, misdirected fills, and inconsistent ice production.

• Restore power and water; run a test fill and check for leaks
