The Ice Mold is an OEM part for Whirlpool refrigerators. This component forms the ice cubes in the icemaker, shaping the water into cubes as it freezes. The ice mold is crucial for the efficient production of ice, ensuring that each cube is properly formed and easily released into the ice bucket.

You should replace the ice mold if it shows signs of wear or damage. Causes of a bad ice mold can include mineral buildup from hard water, physical damage to the mold surface, or malfunctioning heating elements that prevent ice from releasing properly.

Symptoms of a bad Ice Mold include:

• Ice cubes not forming correctly or being irregular in shape
• Ice cubes sticking to the mold and not dispensing
• The icemaker not producing ice at all
• Leaks around the icemaker area

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

The Ice Maker Water Line is an OEM part for Whirlpool refrigerators. It supplies water from the household plumbing to the ice maker, ensuring a consistent and reliable production of ice cubes. This kit includes a 1/4-inch plastic water line that is approximately 72 inches long. The tubing will need to be cut to match the desired length.

Causes of a bad water line can include wear and tear from prolonged use, kinks or bends restricting water flow, or leaks due to punctures or cracks. A compromised water line can result in inadequate ice production or water leaks.

Symptoms of a bad ice maker water line include:

• Reduced or no ice production
• Leaking water from the refrigerator
• Visible cracks or damage to the water line
• Ice cubes that are smaller than usual

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

The Alumilastic Cement is an OEM part for Whirlpool appliances, typically used in refrigerators and freezers. It serves as a thermal mastic compound, designed to provide a secure and heat-conductive bond between various components, such as evaporator coils and the interior walls of the appliance.

Causes of a bad alumilastic cement can include drying out, cracking, or losing its adhesive properties over time. This can occur due to age, exposure to temperature fluctuations, or improper application. When the cement fails, it can lead to poor thermal conductivity and decreased cooling efficiency.

Symptoms of a bad alumilastic cement include:

• Reduced cooling performance
• Unusual noises from the cooling system
• Components becoming loose or detaching
• Increased energy consumption

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.
