Paul M Woodstock , GA October 12, 2020 Appliance: Samsung Washer WA5471ABW/XAA-00 Frequent out of balance error Replaced the suspension rods and balance ring. Suspension rods were fairly easy and may have solved it. But went ahead and did the ring. What was not obvious and planned for is the tub has to come out and the old ring separated from it. It is a part that was put together in a factory with a press. I used a reciprocating saw to cut a wedge out of the old ring. Then unfolded the crimped rim around the top of the tub and cut it off with tin snips.
