Urey M Spring , TX July 10, 2016 Appliance: Samsung Refrigerator RF267AERS/XAA-0000 Refrigerator freezer handle came off Freezer door handle fell off because of cheap design where a piece of plastic could not hold and pulled through the part they call Cap Handle Assembly. I had a very difficult time finding the replacement parts; however Appliance Parts Pros had them (or so I thought). When the parts arrived they were clearly not the parts I needed because the holes did not match up; however, they were the same size and shape. Knowing that this was probably my only chance, I broke out my drill and did a little adapting. After my modification of drilling new holes, the part worked fine and I was able to reassemble the freezer door handle. The design of these parts have been improved from the original, because they have a metal backing plate to act like a washer that were missing from the original. If the original part had the metal backing plate, it would not have failed.
