Alyson T Los Angeles , CA June 30, 2016 Appliance: Model RH22H9010SR/AA0000 Funny thumping noise when dispensing water and very slow stream of water out of dispenser Our water dispenser on our Samsung RH22H9010SR/AA0000 fridge started making a strange thumping noise suddenly and started dispensing water very slowly. We changed the filter which had little to no effect. Awesome people at Appliance Parts Pros deduced it was probably the water inlet valve but no one could find the part on any Samsung diagrams. After a few days of research on our behalf, they finally determined that the water inlet valve is actually part of the water filter housing and is NOT sold separately. When we received the part, the only thing that made us hesitate was taking apart the fridge just to change the incoming water line. We decided after much deliberation not to take apart the back of the fridge just to change the water line coming INTO the refrigerator. We took the new incoming line off of the new part and used the existing line. After deciding that, removing the old part and replacing it with the new was pretty straightforward. Now it is working great just in time for another heat wave! Love Appliance Parts Pros, not loving the Samsung fridge much as this is the second big repair we have had to do and it is less than 6 months out of warranty!!!
