Marvin J Salem , MA August 14, 2021 Appliance: Samsung Washer WA456DRHDWR/AA-01 Samsung washer top had rusted out beyond repair.. I ordered a new top. Seemed to be an exact replacement but had fitment issues with the bleach hopper. Thought I had the wrong parts and worked with tech service to confirm all part numbers. The issue was that the bleach hopper cutout was a different configuration than the hopper profile. The stamped recess was correct but the opening was too small. The edge of the cutout was also rolled making the edge too thick for the hopper to snap-in. A 4-inch grinder with a metal cutting disc cured the cutout fitment and thickness issues. I realize I probably voided the warranty of this metal top but all's well that ends well...right ?
