Description

This evaporator assembly replaces the frozen-evaporator module that circulates cold air in the freezer compartment to maintain proper temperatures and defrost cycles. Restores efficient cold transfer and helps prevent frost buildup. What it does:

• Contains the freezer evaporator coil and associated evaporator components that absorb heat from the freezer interior
• Supports normal defrosting to prevent excessive ice accumulation on the coil
• When faulty, may be associated with reduced freezer cooling, visible frost/ice on the coil, or longer-than-normal run cycles
