Samsung DG94-00889B Glass Cooktop Frame Assembly For Range OEM Part

Had an estimate from an appliance repairman for $650 that included a new cooktop for $350 and two hours of labor. I bought the cooktop from appliance parts pro for just over $200. Taking my time, since I had never done this type of repair before, I finished in just under an hour and a half. The only tool required was a Phillips screw driver.

Purchased this part. Unscrewed back of range, opened oven door, unscrewed control console. Pulled off control knobs and unscrewed them from console (not sure I had to do that). Pulled console off by pulling up and out (this was the most difficult part, there are two tabs connecting it to glass top part. Unplugged electrical and finished unscrewing glasstop part. I then removed the broken glass and unscrewed the burner assembly from the glasstop assembly. I then screwed the burner assembly to the new glasstop piece and put everything back together. Took me a little over an hour to figure everything out.

Ordered part, researched on Ytube for repair video - all went great - part was perfect - looks just like new. thank you for making it easy and cost effective.

Got replacement top from appliancepartspros.com. Took me a few minutes to figure out how to replace it but it was not hard, took me about 45 minutes to change.

Ordered replacement ceramic cooktop from AppliancePartsPros and it was delivered quickly, however it had been damaged in shipment. I called AppliancePartsPros and they shipped a replacement that arrived within 24 hours. Great service. Actual replacement required a Phillips screw driver only. Easily replaced with medium skill required. Highly recommended. .
