Michael T Long Beach , CA July 08, 2015 Appliance: Samsung Dryer DV328AGW/XAA-0000 Main control board failure After watching video of how to take apart the dryer I decided it wouldn't be difficult to do the trouble shooting my self. I'm an electrician by trade and have a degree in electronics so when my dry didn't even turn on I figured I could find out what we wrong with the power. The whole unit came apart with only a Philips screwdriver....how easy is that! Meter was the only other tool I used. after checking that the 120vac was getting to the board, I only had to check all the switch components to confirm they were not the cause. However, only one point would keep this display board from lighting up and that is the "power' button. This check out fine so the only thing left was the main control board...This part is a little hard to trouble shoot because it is mostly sealed and there is no schematic for the pins or cables; that I could locate.
