Steven S White Bear Lake , MN January 31, 2015 Appliance: Model RF217ACRS/XXA The food in my fridge was frozen I replaced the thermostat heater assembly, the defrost sensor and the fridge compartment sensor. The temp in the fridge was still below freezing after a few hours. The digital display temp was not even close to the actual temp in the fridge. That should have told me that there was something wrong with the control board, but I thought it was the sensors or thermostat that were bad. It was fairly simple to replace the control board. There was a lot of dust bunnies around the plastic box that contains the board. I'm going to make a point to vacuum it out every few months. Check YouTube for video on board replacement. The parts all arrived in less than 3 days. Thanks for such good customer service !
