Jerry B Southaven , MS July 24, 2018 Appliance: Model RFG298HDRS-0002 Samsung refrigerator RFG298HDRS/xaa top ice maker quit My top ice maker quit making ice. After doing some troubleshooting, I determined that the main power board was bad. Went on the ApplianceParts Pro website, found my refrigerator model and ordered the main PCB board. Received the board in short order. Unplugged the refrigerator and upon initial installation the new board looked different than my bad one. The two looked almost identical except the new board had a heat sink where a connector should have been. I checked the model number on both boards. My board was a DA9200356A. The board on the website was different and what I received was a DA9200147A. I called the 800 number and explained the problem. The technician was great! I told him that I had tried to find the replacement board using the model number from my old board, but couldn't find it. He checked his system, located the correct board and discovered that APPros system was missing my particular board model number on the website. He went the extra mile and informed me that my Samsung refrigerator model was actually a RFG298HDRS-0002. He quickly set up my refund, ordered my new board and sent it out. Had it in two days.
