Joseph H West End , NC October 29, 2018 Appliance: Model DV431AEP/XAA-001 Would not heat I checked the continuity on the heating element first and it needed to be replaced. I replaced the heating element and checked all the other continuity and they checked fine. However, I still wasn't getting heat, the controls were working, and the dryer was tumbling but would not shut off without opening the dryer door. I went back to the site and reviewed troubleshooting items which reflected if there were still no heat the power control board may have an issue. I replaced the primary and secondary control boards just to be safe. Hooked it all up and it worked like a champ.
