Ian M Foster City , CA August 02, 2015 Appliance: Samsung Dishwasher DMR78AHS/XAA-0000 Dishwasher would not power on Replaced PCB (Samsung DD92-00008A) located in front door. A capacitor on the board, another chip and part of the board was clearly fried (blackened). A retractable sink faucet sprayer had loosened the outlet under the sink, shaken loose the outlet ground, and knocked loose the dishwasher plug which I assume shorted the dishwasher while running. Product diagrams showed no fuse, and power was still getting to the board so I assumed the board was dead. David G Gastonia , NC June 07, 2016 Appliance: Model DMR 78 AHS Pe error code on samsung dishwasher Downloaded repair manual from Samsung's website. Power control board malfunction matched the error code and intermittent symptoms. Confirmed on AppliancePartsPros website that their PCB on offer was indeed the correct PCB for my model. The PCB arrived promptly, and it was straightforward to put it in. Took about 30 minutes. Be warned that it requires a TORX driver to get the door apart to reach the PCB, and at least one extra hand is needed.
