David C Mount Sterling , KY November 05, 2018 Appliance: Samsung Washer WF409ANW/XAA Rear plastic tube in Samsung washer model WF409ANW/XAA leaked from bottom Ordered part for rear tube for the Samsung Washer. Totally disassembled my washing machine which is a Samsung WF409ANW/XAA. Rear tube leaked near the train tube. Look like something caused damage to the corner of the plastic where the drain tube connects. This is a poorly made machine. Had previously replaced the spindle arm which was severely corroded. Wrote Samsung on this regarding a design flaw. Still waiting on a reply which will never happen since my letter probably needs to be translated. The job is doable but a lot of pieces. Replaced a wheel bearing in my car that was an easier job than replacing the tub on my washing machine. :(. However I didn't have to pay some repair may $400 for the repair. The tub seal comes with the rear tub. No need to order another seal. Didn't know this when I ordered the tub. Description was vague. All seems to be running fine now. I used my air impact wrench for the bolts on the back of the tub since there are 18-22 of them. Cant remember the count. You can get a work out with the ratchet wrench. No need to remove the door from the front panel. The Appliance Parts video was helpful. Prepare for a water mess during disassembly.
