Tracy V Monte Vista , CO August 11, 2018 Appliance: Samsung Dryer DV42H5000GW/A3-0000 The idler wheel on my 2 year old samsung dryer disintegrated away from the assembly arm Used the dryer drum belt repair video from the Appliance Parts Pros website to disassemble enough of the dryer to diagnose the broken idler wheel. This took about 30 minutes. During this process, also noted the the lint cover was broken and the spring was missing. Ordered replacement parts including a new dryer drum belt. Received the dryer drum belt and the idler assembly on the 3rd business day following my order. Used the repair video to walk me through the repair process. Lisa A Pa'auilo , HI June 09, 2026 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG CLOTHES DRYER MODEL # DV45K6500EW/A3 My lint trap spring loaded flap for the vent snapped off a peg and the spring was lost at the same time I ordered the lint trap door "assembly" and it arrived quickly with a hefty charge for shipping. Alas, it was only the flap minus the spring that is needed to keep the flap closed when the lint trap is not in the slot. I needed to order the spring and was dismayed at the huge shipping price for the little spring. I called customer service and was helped by a very nice lady who managed to waive the shipping fee. This morning the spring arrived and my dryer is now in fine working condition. I watched a You Tube Video to see how to proceed. If you need the flap replaced, don't forget to order the spring at the same time. This was a great experience working with the Appliance Parts Pros. Thank you. Read More...
