Description

The Ice Cover Plate is an OEM component specifically designed for Samsung refrigerators. It forms the top covering for the icemaker and storage bin, preserving ice production. The cover plate helps regulate temperature and block moisture escape from the icemaking compartment. 

Symptoms of a bad ice cover plate include:

  • Excess moisture or condensation inside the refrigerator 
  • Water or ice buildup near the icemaker area
  • Inefficient icemaking with slow freezing times
