Description

This Micro Switch Cover protects and positions the appliance's door micro switch so the door latch can reliably engage the switch. Replacing a worn or broken cover restores proper switch actuation and improves door-detection reliability. What it does:

• Holds and shields the micro switch actuator to ensure consistent contact when the door closes
• Prevents the switch plunger from sticking or misaligning due to wear or debris
• Common symptom: door not registering closed or appliance fails to start
• Common symptom: intermittent operation or sporadic control response when door is pushed
