Description

This door seal replaces the flexible rubber seal around the front-load washer door to help keep water inside the drum and maintain a tight seal during wash cycles. Restores proper sealing and reduces leaks. What it does:

• Creates a watertight seal between the washer door and drum to prevent leaks during fill, wash, and spin.
• Cushions and aligns the door glass, helping it close smoothly and evenly.
• Helps limit dirt, lint, and moisture buildup around the door area that can cause odors or mold.
• Replace if you see visible tears, permanent deformation, or persistent leaking from the door area.

What's included:

• One replacement door seal, black.

Install notes:

• Disconnect power and turn off water supply before beginning any repair.
• Reinstall carefully, making sure the inner and outer lips seat correctly in the drum and door frame; the retaining band or spring is fully engaged.
• Inspect and clean the door frame, tub flange, and any grooves before seating the new seal to ensure a proper fit.
