Description

This replacement control knob assembly restores easy, accurate control of a front-mounted appliance selector. It snaps onto the control shaft to replace a cracked, stripped, loose, or missing knob and returns reliable user control. What it does:
  • Replaces a damaged or missing control/selector knob so settings can be selected and adjusted normally
  • Fits onto the control shaft and engages the splines to transmit user input to the control mechanism
  • Common symptom fixes: knob spins freely, knob won't turn, stripped splines, cracked or broken knob, or lost knob

Install notes:
  • Disconnect power (unplug or switch off circuit breaker) before attempting service
  • Pull the old knob straight off; some knobs may have a retaining screw—inspect and remove if present
  • Align splines on the new knob with the control shaft and push on firmly until fully seated
