John L East Rockaway , NY August 12, 2016 Appliance: Whirlpool Washer LSQ8243HQ0 Door wouldn't close and lock This is the easiest fix disconnect power. Remove wire and spring from gasket with screwdriver be careful not to damage rubber. Remove 2 screws holding switch bracket. Reach inside behind gasket and remove switch and bracket. Unplug switch remove. Replace with new and just reverse the process. This is a 15 minute fix. Just saved a 80 dollar service call. Read More...
