Louis V Houston , TX August 20, 2016 Appliance: Samsung Refrigerator RF263AERS/XAA-0001 Samsung french door refrigerator left and right door gaskets were split out and mildewed First, I removed the old gaskets, which was a very easy task since they are held in the doors by rubber beads in recessed slots. I installed the new right door gasket in less than 10 minutes by gradually pushing the retainer bead into the door recessed slot with finger pressure until it was seated properly. The left door bead was somewhat more difficult to install into the bead slot, because the recessed bead slot is covered by a hinged flap on its left edge that doesn't permit easy access. Therefore, I used the blade of a small butter knife to gradually press the bead into its retainer slot, while being careful not to damage the new gasket by pressing on it too hard with the blade edge. The other three sides of the gasket for the left door were installed in a manner similar to those for the right door. Waldemar C Sterling Heights , MI August 13, 2018 Appliance: Model RF26AXERS Ice coming out from all holes of evaporator cover I read the similar problem resolution, viewed the video and decided to take a stab at fixing it. Purchased all the replaceable parts including the evaporator cover with the fan. Good thing since the ice bonded to the insulation of the old cover so most of the insulation was torn when the assembly cover was finally removed. Had a little difficulty removing the heater since it is held by slots in the shield but bending the shield made it easier to remove. Had all latest parts so splicing wires was not required. Tried to install the red and white clips the 3 harnesses on the table but that seemed to be impossible so I just plugged in each harness into the block and installed the clips.
