Curt P Newcomerstown , OH February 14, 2016 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG DISHWASHER Water leaking out of vent onto floor Replaced vent damper actuator. Removed torx head screws on inside of door and removed vent cover(2pieces). Only real challenge is when door outer cover comes clear off. Little tricky to maneuver it all back into one piece to screw together. Parts were exact fit.and it fixed issue. Parts Pros were right on in helping me trouble shoot the problem! Kevin F Red Lion , PA September 15, 2016 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG 800 SERIES Leaking vent A simple replacement of the diaphragm disc located under the internal vent. I was actually able to remove the old disk without removing door outer cover. I was able to finese the new disc in the same way I removed the old. After 3 cycles there is no vent leakage. You have to make sure disc is connected to actuator stem. Prior to installing new disc ensure your seating area for new disc is thoroughly cleaned.
