Samsung DC61-01228A Dryer Drum Roller Retainer Clip OEM Part

I initially thought the dryer belt broke (common problem) and found a good video made by appliance parts pros showing how to replace the belt. As I took the dryer apart I discovered multiple issues. Appliance parts pros had all of the parts I needed and instructional videos that gave me the confidence to do the job. Ordered parts on a Sunday afternoon, parts arrived Tuesday morning and was back in business within an hour.

Replaced the belt and a missing roller retainer.

Pulley had damage to it. I watched the repair video and showed me exactly how my exact model is disassembled. I use a magnet for all those screws. I'd recommend having extra around. I used the time my part (original OEM parts) took to thoroughly clean the dryer. The Mounting screw is tight and easy to strip. Plyers got it easily. You need 2 people for a few minutes to help put your drum and belt back on. Other than that its a matter of minutes before you are back in the saddle again. Take pictures and video of everything and you got it made.

Purchased drive belt idled pulley from appliancepartspros, arrived in 2 days as promised. Replaced melted pulley that had froze onto the shaft, along with retainer clip, took about 20-30 min. and the dryer was back in action. Plenty of YouTube videos showing the procedure if you need them, recommend using mechanics gloves, a lot of sharp edges on the appliance cabinet edges
