Greg S Pearland , TX February 13, 2017 Appliance: Samsung Side By Side Refrigerator RS267LASH/XAA The ice dispenser paddle broke into two pieces on my samsung refrigerator Ordered a new part from Appliance Parts Pros. Looked online on how to replace it. Used a flat head screw driver to "pop" or pry off the faceplate mounted to the door. Once removed unscrewed two Phillips head screws to access the broken ice dispenser paddle. The old paddle popped off the hinge and the new one easily snapped into place. Then just reversed my steps putting everything back together. Total time was about 10 minutes to fix. Hardest part was locating the slots in the bottom of the faceplate to lift off the faceplate. Charles S Olympia Fields , IL January 13, 2015 Appliance: Samsung Refrigerator RS275ACBP/XAA-0000 I had a problem with the ice dispenser the ice maker worked fine but no dispensing when the dispenser lever was tripped I removed the controller cover on the front of the freezer door and found that the dispenser lever, when tripped was not making the switch which causes the auger motor to operate. I found that one side of the dispenser lever had a broken pivot pin resulting in the lever not remaining in proper alignment thus not making/activating switch. I ordered the switch from AppliancePartsPros.com and it arrived in one day. The part was replace in no time and all is well now. 15 minute job, very simple to change out. Thank you AppliancePartsPro.
