Seetharaman K Reminderville , OH March 10, 2020 Appliance: Samsung Refrigerator RS253BASB/XAA The freezer temperature was fine but the refrigerator temperature would not drop below 50. Because the Fan Motor on the Fridge side was not working originally, the Evaporator coil would freeze up AND the water dispenser would freeze up as well. Based on what I found on the internet, I ordered the Temperature Sensor and Thermal Fuse first with AppliancePartsPros.com and replaced them. Even after that, it was the same symptom with the fridge temperature. Had a technician come in to diagnose that the problem is with the Motor Fan. Replaced the Motor on the Fridge side(DA31 00002S) and the Fan Blade, just in case. Within a couple of hours, the temperature steadily dropped from 64 down to 36 degrees, which is what we set it to and has stayed the same since.
