Description

This evaporator fan motor circulates cold air through the freezer and refrigerator compartments to maintain even temperatures and efficient cooling. It's a direct-replacement motor that restores proper airflow and helps prevent frost buildup when functioning correctly. What it does:

• Spins the evaporator fan blade to move cold air across the evaporator coils and into the cabinet.
• Restores normal airflow when a failed motor causes weak cooling or uneven temperatures.
• Helps reduce frost accumulation on the evaporator by maintaining steady airflow.
• Can eliminate abnormal noise if a worn motor or wobbly shaft is the source.

What's included: One motor fan assembly. Install notes:

• Disconnect power before starting work to avoid electrical shock.
• Remove interior panels and any ice buildup carefully to access the evaporator fan area.
• Handle the evaporator and fan blades gently to avoid damage; ensure correct blade seating and connector engagement.
