Michael G Prattville , AL August 15, 2015 Appliance: Samsung Washer WF218ANW/XAA-0000 The samsung washer machine showed an nd error it was not draining error it would drain some but not all the way and we would have to fininish draining it through the drain hose I inspected the drain lines and drain filter. I inspected the motor, and it was not locked. I ordered the drain pump. Just because it was the cheaper between the two parts, drain pump and pcb board, and it did not fix the problem, so I got the pcb board, and it did fix the problem. For you folks having the same problem, here is the way you can check your drain pump motor and save yourselves some money. I had ordered a repair manual. I did not get it until several days after the parts arrived. My wife wanted the washer to be fixed, so I could not wait for its arrival. The manual stated for my pump it was approximately 174 ohms between the terminals on the water pump, so this bit of info that may save someone else some time and money. Last thing to say, I am very impressed with appliancepartspros.com. They have a 365 day return policy. You can always call or chat with them online. The part was delivered in two days. I definitely had a positive experience dealing with AppliancePartsPros.com. Vieng K Macedon , NY August 22, 2016 Appliance: Samsung Washer WF218ANW/XAA-0000 "nd" error code First, I checked the drain pump by connecting it to 120VAC external source and pump runs. Second, I checked for 120VAC on the drain pump's connector during spin cycle and got 0VAC. Third, I had to rule out that it wasn't a wire harness problem by doing a continuity check between the pump's connector and the controller board. Continuity between the wires are fine. The culprit must be the controller board! So I ordered one from appliancepartspros.com. It took me about 10 minutes to replace the controller board. And since I have the machine apart, I spent another 45 minutes cleaning out all the nasty slimes and cruds in all the hoses. Tyler S Westminster , MD July 26, 2016 Wasn't draining After checking the resistance of the drain pump motor (14.3 ohms, right on spec) and the voltage being sent to the pump by the control board (0 volts when it should have been 120 volts), I determined the control board was faulty. Ordered the part through AppliancePartsPros and received it in two days. Installed in 15 minutes with a few screws and electrical connections and it worked like a charm. John S Orlando , FL May 23, 2016 Appliance: Samsung Washer WF218ANW/XAA-0000 Would not drain (nd) I changed out the pump and made sure all the hoses were clear and still had the problem. Decided to take the chance with the pcb asy as it was cheaper than a new washer. Much easier than i thought it would be. Just disconnect the wires and remove the screws and replace. It worked perfectly after I put it back together. Good price and return policy is why I went with Appliancepartspros.com. Read More...
