Description

This replacement part is designed for ovens. It is a replacement touchpad membrane and fits between the touchpad itself and the control board that manages and monitors the oven's function and temperature. The membrane is made from rubber and includes electronic sensors and wires that connect it to the control panel, allowing it to transmit user input to control the oven.Over time and through normal use, the membrane will begin to wear out. This may be noticed if users have to press buttons harder than usual, hold them for a long time before the input is registered, or buttons become unresponsive. The most frequently used buttons often fail first. To replace this part, first unplug the oven. Always wear gloves when working on household appliances. The membrane is located behind the touchpad bezel/cowl and is held in place with several screws that will need to be removed.This genuine OEM part is sold individually.
