John C Savannah , GA January 22, 2019 Appliance: Samsung Dishwasher DMT800RHS/XAA "pe" code samsung dishwasher indicating a half load component failure. Dishwasher would not run. I went on line found the PE code and started troubleshooting. I ended up ordering a new circuit board, and the half-load motor and micro-switch. It turned out, I didn't need the circuit board. Replacing the motor and micro-switch solved the problem. The repair was very simple. I pulled out the dishwasher from under the counter, tipped it on its side and unscrewed the white plastic plate on the bottom. This exposed all the working parts of the dishwasher. Using the parts diagram on the Appliance Parts Pros website, I located the motor and the micro-switch. The micro-switch is on two posts and easily snaps off. The motor comes off with the removal of two Phillip screws. Once you know what the problem is, the fix only takes about 10 minutes total.
