Bruce S Mitchell , SD August 22, 2015 Appliance: Samsung Washer WF306LAW/XAA-0000 Had a te error code on samsung front loader Ordered a new thermistor from AppliancePros.com. This was a Knights of Columbus project to fix a nonfunctioning washer to give to a family that did not have a washing machine. The washer had sat in a garage before being donated to our organization. I did not know where the thermistor was located but eventually found it at the bottom of the machine. I did not have any trouble installing the new thermistor but also noticed a broken wire which I had to resplice. The machine started running with the new thermistor. After removing some of the panels as I was looking for the thermistor location I found a mouse nest behind the control panel. I removed this and luckily it did not short anything out. It was an interesting project. I encourage others to fix up washing machines and give them to someone that cannot afford one!
