Kevin T Peachtree City , GA February 14, 2015 Appliance: Samsung Side By Side Refrigerator RS2630SH/XAA Refridgerator compressor would not come on Fridge stopped working and issues with defrosting all the time. Compressor would not come on. After inspecting unit, replaced compressor relay and overload switch. Still would only come on intermittently. Ordered new capacitor and transformer since there was a burnt smellncoming from power board compartment. Still intermittent operation. While messing around with connecrions on board, one of the enclosed relays would flash green like it wanted to connect so i tapped on the relay and compressor came on. I then knew this relay was bad so ordered new board. Installed new board when it came in and instantly fridge worked. I also replaced defrost thermostat and defrost temp switch since we did have issues with freezer defrosting a lot and making mess on floor. Fridge and freezer working great now.
