Ice Machine Shaft Actuator Parts
Genuine Whirlpool part

Part Number: W10585391
This water inlet valve regulates the flow of water into the appliance. When the control calls for water it opens; when closed it stops flow. Replacing a faulty valve helps restore proper filling and prevent unwanted leaks. What it does:
- Opens and closes to control the water supply to the system
- Helps maintain correct water flow during fill operations
- Common symptoms of a failing valve: no water enters, slow or intermittent fill, water continues to flow when off, leaks at the valve or connections, or a humming/buzzing sound with little/no water
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power and turn off the water supply before servicing
- Place a towel or container to catch residual water; relieve line pressure
- Reconnect tubing and fittings securely; do not overtighten compression nuts
- Restore water and power, then check all joints for leaks and run a test fill to purge air

There are plenty of DIY youtube videos to show you how to replace the parts. I went ahead and replaced more than just the broken parts. Genuine Ge part

Part Number: WR57X10072
This genuine replacement part is a water valve for refrigerator ice makers. The water valve supplies water to the ice maker to fill the water reservoir. If the icemaker is no longer operating properly and no longer dispensing ice, it might mean that the water valve needs to be replaced. Thankfully, replacing this part is an easy repair. To begin, make sure all the power is turned off to the appliance. Open the freezer door where the water dispenser is located. Remove the inner panel of the door by unfastening the screws that secure it. Once the panel has been removed locate the old water valve and release it from its mounting brackets. Once removed, replace with the new water valve. Reinstall the door panel and restore power to the refrigerator. This OEM part is compatible with General Electric, Hotpoint, and RCA brand refrigerators.
