This interface customer assembly is the user-facing control and display panel that lets you operate your appliance and view status feedback. Replacing a faulty interface restores responsive buttons and clear display feedback for normal use. What it does:
- Provides user controls and visual status indicators for the appliance
- Routes button presses or touch inputs to the main control board
- Restores readable display or LED indicators if the original panel is dim, unreadable, or intermittently blank
- Can resolve symptoms such as unresponsive buttons, missing/displayed error codes, or incorrect status indications
What's included: One interface customer assembly. Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before starting work to avoid shock or damage
- Handle the assembly carefully and avoid touching circuit contacts; ESD precautions recommended
- Installation typically requires removal of the control console/trim and disconnecting ribbon or wire harnesses—retain screws and note connector location
