This knob thermostat replaces a worn or broken temperature control knob to restore reliable temperature selection and user control. It provides a direct, easy-to-use interface for adjusting oven or range heat settings. What it does
- Acts as the user-facing control for selecting oven or range temperature or heat settings.
- Restores tactile control when original knob is cracked, stripped, or loose.
- Helps resolve symptoms such as unresponsive controls, inability to change temperature setting, or a knob that spins without engaging.
- Works with the existing control shaft and mounting hardware to re-enable normal operation.

- Disconnect power to the appliance before beginning any work to avoid electric shock.
- Pull the old knob straight off the control shaft; some models may require removing a retaining clip or bezel—keep hardware for reinstallation.
- Push the new knob onto the shaft until it seats; it engages and turns the control smoothly.
- Test the control after restoring power; if the control shaft or internal switch is damaged, additional parts or service may be required.
